Our sweet Jacob arrived August 21 and reunited with family on Dec 10. He has healed from all physical injuries and left a happy baby! We miss him dearly, but know in our hearts that he should be with family. Our prayer is that Jacob will remain safe and be loved. He has changed our lives forever, thank you God for this wonderful experience.

I love this collection of photos. You are a wonderful mom with even a more wonderful heart. Thanks for helping me open my heart to him and fostering as well. Will truly miss that little guy. "Eeeeeeeeee!" =)
That slide show is so very sweet! You guys had such a remarkable impact on his life! It is amazing how you expect to make a difference in HIS life, but are never prepared for the difference he made in YOURS. You will carry a piece of him around with you forever! Miss you sweet Jacob!
i am weeping... with sorrow, with joy, with amazement. jess... you DID give Jacob "roots"... roots he never would have had without you two. the things you did in his life, the lessons taught, the love shown, the attachment created will sustain him for years to come. you may never see how much you affected his life... but you can dream- about the future he will have, the impact on the world. i can still remember our doctor looking at bradley- exposed to more things during his development than is imaginable- and how well he was doing and saying 'you are one blessed little boy. God has HUGE plans for you". and with tiger she said "there is no reason logically why you are thriving the way you are with everything that has happened to you. God has something so special in store for you".
Jess- the same with Jacob... he is God's child who survived and thrived in spite of things brought upon him... God has great plans for him and his life has brought so many people joy and allowed you to be a champion for fostering and shine a light on this passion of yours. and i believe that God has big plans for you and Mike. i don't know why God didn't chose to have Jacob be with you forever... but you will understand in time... and see the plan that God has for this area of your life.

Oh WOW! What a beautiful slide show of sweet Jacob!! You and Mike have such amazing hearts! I am so honored to witness how God is working in you and through you in your fostering journey! Jacob will forever be loved and remembered!
Oh what great pictures! I even remember taking a few of them :) What wonderful memories you will carry with you always of Jacob and his short 3 months with you. But even though it was only 3 months, you changed his life. You kept him safe. You showed him unconditional love. You helped him heal. The Lord brought Jacob to you for just the time that He needed him to be with you. It's hard to let go and to not understand why he couldn't be with you longer, but we have to trust that the Lord's timing and plans are perfect. Jacob's life will never be the same because of you & Mike's impact and love on his little life. Your lives will never be the same either. So excited to see what the Lord is going to do and praying for you guys! Love you!
I loved the slide show of Jacob! And I have truly loved and been blessed following you and Mike's journey with fostering. I am so proud of you! I know how hard it can be to follow God's will, but I also know the rewards - and they are great! Can't wait to see you - we need to plan a girl's dinner really soon :-)
